The Department of Economics commenced its working on 2020 with the approval of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. We Mar Baselious College Adimaly under the auspicious of Mar Athanasius Association Kothamangalam, started this BA Economics programme, with the foresight to make the students very proficient in the well known discipline in social science, Economics. Through the three year programme it envisage to understand the basic concept, theories and tools in Economics.That will enable the students to understand, analyse, and solve the economic problems of the society.With the three year programme students will trained in the related disciplines like, Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Development Economics, International Economics, Environmental Economics, Money & Finance, Banking etc.
