English has been incorporated with the curriculum since 2015, as an undergraduate course. The department played a crucial role in designing and realizing the importance of B. A English Literature, Communication and Journalism for the M. G UNIVERSITY.
Department is blessed with excellent faculty, who foster students to face the challenges that may come across in the future, especially English as a language. Moreover, we encourage newspaper reading and through extensive collections of books and journals, try to broaden the knowledge level and reading skills of the students. Thereby inculcating , a passion for English language in the minds of students. With the help of modern digital technology we provide a new dimension to learning and teaching by presenting the classes visually in the form of short films, teledramas etc. Further we expose students to different media by media visit and provide training to the students through media training . A wide range of teaching techniques are used for the active participation of students.
