OJT IN MEDIA: AUDIO, VISUAL AND PRINT
- CO1 - The project will be based on areas dealing with Journalism and mass communication. The
students are required to join a media house related to print, visual, radio or cyber journalism for a
period of 25 days. At the media house, the students are expected to take the role of a reporter or
editor through which they will get an opportunity to work on the theoretical aspects of
journalism. After the training, they are expected to submit a detailed report on the job scenario.
The student, in consultation with the supervising teacher, has to prepare the project report. The
expected pages for a UG project will be 30 to 35. It should contain three chapters of almost equal
length (8 to 10 pages), and in addition, there can be two short sections (2 to 3 pages), as
Introduction and Conclusion. A list of Works Cited should be at the end of the dissertation.
