Mar Baselios College, Adimaly conducted Chingam 1 celebration as a beginning of the Onam celebration, ‘Sraavanam, on 17th August 2022. The programmes started at 10.00 am with prayer. Our College Principal, Dr. Benny Alexander, inaugurated the celebration. After that, ‘Malayali Manka, and ‘Malayali Maaran’ competitions were held. . Monish Moni (III B.A English) and Hawla Rahim (II M.com) won the titles ‘Malayali Maaran’and ‘Malayali Manka respectively. A reading competition, ‘Spudam’, was also held as part of ‘Sraavanam’.
